The total value of the contract would be in excess of $15 million.

LXRX’s LX1031 is an oral drug designed to treat symptoms associated with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) by selectively decreasing the production of serotonin in the GI tract.
** LXRX reported that its LX1031 demonstrated positive results in clinically important parameters for the treatment of non-constipating irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Top-line results showed that treatment with one gram of LX1031 four times daily produced a statistically significant improvement in global assessment of relief of IBS pain and discomfort over the four-week dosing period as compared to placebo (p=0.0465). Improvements in global assessment parameters also corresponded with statistically significant improvements in stool consistency. Notably, increased clinical response correlated with a greater reduction in serotonin synthesis as reflected by measures of urinary 5-HIAA, a breakdown product of serotonin.
In other words, LXRX’s LX1031 reduced symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome and holds promise for patients with this disease.

- EFJI has been awarded a contract valued at $3.3 million provide its innovative Hybrid IP25(TM) system, the first Project 25 compliant infrastructure system that will enable first responder two-way radio calls to roam between trunked and conventional systems.
- EFJI’s 3e Technologies International subsidiary has received a funding increment of $5 million from the U.S. Navy to extend the virtual perimeter monitoring system (VPMS) solution it is currently providing to the Navy.
- EFJI has received a new state-wide multi-year contract and an order valued at $6.1 million from a large state police force. The order calls for the Company to provide its award-winning ES Series of Project 25 compliant mobile radios and accessories.
