Houston Woman Shot To Death While On Cellphone

A 29-year-old woman was purportedly shot and killed while talking on her cellphone in Houston, police say.

The unidentified woman was shot at about 12:34 a.m. close to Augusta at Woodway as she drove to her home while talking to her ex-boyfriend, MyFoxHouston.com reports.

Officers who responded to the scene discovered the woman’s car smashed into a garage. She was evidently shot through the glass of her car and died a short time later.

Authorities stated that the woman’s former boyfriend is cooperating with investigators and isn’t a suspect or a person of interest.
