

NAPERVILLE, IL — (CRWENEWSWIRE) — Broadwind Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ:BWEN) today announced strong fourth-quarter orders, including a $23 million order for wind turbine towers. The tower order was Broadwind’s first order from a leading U.S. wind turbine manufacturer and will encompass towers for various domestic wind projects. The towers will be produced in Broadwind’s Manitowoc, Wisconsin facility for delivery during the second half of 2012.
